Latina BizCon™ 2022 embraces business technology and innovation
ONTARIO, CA. – NLBWA-IE’s Latina BizCon™ returns to the Ontario Convention Center on October 27e 2022 for exciting, technology-driven in-person programming. The central focus of the conference, “Facing and embracing the digital future together”, addresses topics to empower Latino entrepreneurs and small businesses of color to transform their businesses through innovation and technology. Members of the public will have an interactive session on BCompany certification to access great contract opportunities and learn more about Supply and CCyber threats. Participants registered for the ‘Biz-Match-Making’ tosession pitch their business plans to potential state, federal and utility buyers.

The keynote speakers for the event are Ana Lassodirector of the California Department of General Services hasn/a Gioia MessingerFounder and CEO of Related objects and a successful Latina Tech entrepreneur.
Leaders, entrepreneurs and technology experts will discuss how small businesses can position themselves to compete in today’s market. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with expert mentors to help them navigate and integrate these technologies into business operations.

Katherine Wetherbee, CEO of Syntech Group, will speak on Cyber Threats, Privacy Breaches and New “Must-Know” Technology Trends. The “Transformative Technology” roundtable focused on technology for small businesses will be moderated by David Pearson, Managing Director of Entrepreneurial Programs, EPIC UC Riverside. He will be joined by Gioia Messinger, founder of LinkedObjects; Gregg Profozich, CMTC, Director of Advanced Manufacturing Technologys; Alex Delgadillo, SecLex, director of information security; Samantha Huerta, Microsoft, Cloud Solutions Architect.
