The courses provided by SeniorNet Whanganui will help seniors develop their digital communication skills.

SeniorNet courses on smartphones and devices of the year are open for registration and should prove the opportunity to learn or upgrade digital communication skills.

The classes are the last of the year and Terry Dowdeswell encourages people to sign up and learn how to use a smart device effectively.

“The course will cover internet banking, dealing with government departments and local councils, ordering goods and services, and almost all forms of everyday activities that are easy and efficient to do online.”

Friendly tutors know the best way to guide seniors through the process of learning these skills.

“Courses run from November 7 to December 16 and cover both Apple (iPhone, MacBook) and Android (other smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc., such as Samsung, Oppo, Nokia) devices for beginners and advances.”

Private lessons are also available by appointment and all of these services are available to SeniorNet members and non-members.
